After Successfully Guiding Two Global Giants, Jeffrey "Jeff" S. Bornstein and Ron Hynes Join ZincFive’s Advisory Board as the Company Scales its Nickel-Zinc Based Energy Solutions
PORTLAND, OR – (July 2018) – ZincFive CEO and Co-founder, Tim Hysell announced today that Jeffrey “Jeff” S. Bornstein, former Vice Chair and CFO of General Electric, and Ron Hynes, former MasterCard Executive VP join the Company’s Advisory Board as charter members.

Jeffrey "Jeff" S. Bornstein served as General Electric’s Vice Chair and CFO (July 2013 - October 2017), where he successfully transformed the Company’s portfolio to include the sale of GE Appliances; executed the merger of GE Oil & Gas with Baker Hughes; managed the sale of more than $300 billion of businesses and assets of GE Capital; guided GE’s acquisition of Alstom; and drove down structural costs. Previously, Bornstein was SVP and CFO of GE Capital helping grow earnings four fold. Bornstein has mentored and developed a generation of finance leaders who continue to lead GE and many other public and private corporations.

Ron Hynes is a recognized global FinTech and payments expert. As MasterCard Worldwide Executive Vice President, Global Prepaid Solutions, Hynes guided the Company’s exponential growth in revenue and market share for MasterCard’s global prepaid business, as well as championing the Company’s financial inclusion and government strategies. He created seven of the top prepaid card programs globally. Most recently, Hynes served as CEO and Board Director of UniRush LLC, a prepaid financial services Company and originator of the renowned RushCard. Hynes led the successful turnaround of UniRush, initiated a recapitalization process, returned the Company to profitability and grew new customer acquisitions by more than 100 percent. The Company was successfully sold to Green Dot.
